Shawnee State is hosting a Resource Fair for students on Wednesday, Nov. 15, in the Morris University Center. The event is hosted by Housing and Residence Life’s Resident Relations Committee from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The goal of the event is for students to be able to gain information, obtain resources and establish connections with the various SSU offices.
Supervisor resident assistant Carissa Link explained the expectations her team has for the fair.
“We hope to spread information and awareness of campus resources and student organizations at Shawnee State to build and strengthen the residential community and to foster a sense of belonging for all students,” she said.
Not only can students use this fair to find help, but they can also give assistance to other students. Students may sign up to table at the fair for their student organizations. Anyone interested in participating can contact Hannah Fyffe at hfyffe2@shawnee.edu by Nov. 8.
All students are welcome to stop by the Resource Fair to gain more knowledge about the offices and organizations of SSU.
