Noah Carter, Staff Writer

Noah Carter is a 21-year-old freshman majoring in communication at Shawnee State University. He has been to a lot of different places but has settled in Portsmouth to complete his degree. He plans to become a political or video game journalist and wants to present credible and interesting stories in a sea of both misinformation and disinformation. Noah is a film buff, and his all-time favorite movie is The Truman Show. Noah can be found with his friends, playing video games, listening to music and watching movies when he isn’t in school.

When asked how he felt about being a part of the Chronicle staff and the news writing and reporting class, Noah compared it to how he felt in his first public speaking class. “With public speaking, I felt very nervous going into it,” he said, “but by the end, it was one of my favorite classes, and that’s kind of how I’m feeling with this class.”

Noah plans to cover topics such as the Shawnee Game Conference, the Mothman Festival and BLINK Cincinnati.
