Hope Jenkins is a 20-year-old communication major in her second year at Shawnee State University. She grew up in Lucasville, Ohio, and went on to graduate from Northwest High School. Hope is currently working toward a career in news reporting or public relations.

In her free time, Hope enjoys writing, antiquing and attending music festivals and concerts. She is an active member of Dungeon Crawlers and the current secretary of the Sexuality and Gender Acceptance club, or SAGA. She recently began work at the Deadbolt escape room in Portsmouth. Hope enjoys writing horror fiction and is looking to improve her news reporting skills during her time at the Chronicle.
