Theta Phi Alpha is preparing for their annual “Bump in the Night” volleyball tournament. They hope to have another successful turnout to the hit event. Last year, the ladies of Theta Phi Alpha raised over $250 for the Lupus Foundation of America and collected over 125 canned goods for a local shelter.

Looking to have a fun night playing volleyball while contributing to a good cause? Keep an eye out for their table to register as a team. Teams consist of six players and cost five dollars per person to play. However, there are ways to lower the cost. Donating three canned goods can lower the price to three dollars per person. If someone who donates three canned goods also wears a costume, the cost would be lowered to only two dollars. The top two teams will both win a prize. “It is super fun to just come out and watch, [even] if you do not want to play,” Theta Phi member, Cami Shoemaker states. The event will be taking place on Wednesday, October 23 at 9:00 PM in the Waller Gymnasium.
